Impressive Honor to Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science

Remarkable scientific ability in data-intensive systems has given Associate Professor Bin Yang the title of Distinguished Scholar at the Technical Faculty of IT and Design

Bin Yang, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, has just been named Distinguished Scholar at the Technical Faculty of IT and Design. The event was marked by a reception Friday, March 9 where Dean Henrik Pedersen presented a certificate to Bin Yang.

Bin Yang's designation is recognition of his remarkable scientific ability in the field of data-intensive systems.

The honor includes a stipend to further support Bin Yang in his career.

– I am delighted to be able to a name you as the first Distinguished Scholar at TECH, and as proof of this recognition you receive this certificate and solid financial support to use as you find most appropriate. We know that you cannot guarantee great results, but we are convinced that you will do targeted and excellent work, said Henrik Pedersen in his address to Bin Yang who originally comes from China and has now been in Denmark for seven years.
