ESBJERG BUSINESS COMMUNITY GUARANTEES JOBS FOR NEW ENGINEERING GRADS
More students for Esbjerg and more access to a qualified labour force is the goal of a new agreement between Aalborg University (AAU) and Business Esbjerg. The business community has agreed to guarantee engineering graduates from AAU Esbjerg a job for a minimum of six months after the end of their education. The agreement is intended to help ensure growth in Southwest Jutland once it gets past the coronavirus crisis.

NEW MODEL is a giant leap for RECYCLED PLASTICS
Plastics could be recycled to a far greater degree than they are today if we could develop better methods to test the quality of recycled plastic. AAU SOFTWARE TO MAP CORONA SYMPTOMS
All Danes can now play a role in coronavirus research. A person with coronavirus has valuable insight into exactly what symptoms the virus causes, but a completely symptom-free person can also contribute valuable knowledge about the spread of coronavirus in Denmark. Aalborg University has just launched a digital mapping platform where all Danes can contribute by recording their current state of health. The data collected will provide a unique picture of coronavirus in Denmark, and in the longer term may be used in developing vaccines or forecasts for other disease epidemics.
